Habitat Home Dedication

April 13, 2017

Las Cruces, NM (April 13,2017) — All friends of Habitat are invited to the dedication of four homes at 12:00p.m., on Friday, April 28nd, 2017. Families will be presented with the keys to houses at 4970-4978 Wendall Rd; you are invited to tour the homes and meet the families.

 Event Details:

Who: Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity and future- homeowners

What: Home Dedication

Where: 4970-4978 Wendall Rd., Las Cruces NM 88012

When: Friday, April 28th, 2017

Multiple local businesses and community leaders who donated their time, services and in kind donations will be in attendance. This type of contribution and involvement helps make the dream of home ownership a reality for our Partner Families.

This will also be the culmination of a year of building by Habitat volunteers, like the Las Cruces Fire Dept., City of Las Cruces Codes Enforcement, partner families, "Care-a-Vanners" and hundreds of individuals who care to make a difference.  Donations from the community, churches, corporate sponsors, and many others made possible the completion of this season’s Habitat houses. "Without local support, none of this would be possible." Says, ReStore Manager, James Allison. "Please, join us on this special day so we can thank you in person."

Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity is a local, non-profit, self-help organization assisting families in the community to build and purchase decent homes that they would not otherwise be able to afford.  Since the affiliate began in 1987, they have completed ninety-five homes in the Las Cruces. Donations of money and materials are always tax-deductible, and an excellent outlet for funding for organizations and individuals to consider when tax planning throughout the year.   Individuals or organizations interested in making a donation to any of Habitat’s current projects or simply finding out more about Habitat’s work are invited to call Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity at (505) 525-0475.
