Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity’s 911 Build

November 2, 2016

Las Cruces, NM (November 2, 2016)—Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity has invited law enforcement, firefighters, military, and first responders in the community to come together in an effort to build affordable homes for local families with its community project: “9-1-1 Build”; which will take place November 8th through 12th of 2016 from 8:00am to 2:00pm at the location of two of the five Habitat homes being built this season: 4974 and 4972 Wendall Rd,Las Cruces, NM, 88012.

By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership. During this five-day event participants and community partners include: Las Cruces Police Department, American Medical Response, Las Cruces Fire Department, Chick-Fil-A, Premier Distributing, Dickerson’s Catering, Albertsons-N Mains St location, and many others. If you are interested in supporting our “9-1-1 Build”, and/or need more information, please contact Yvette Bayless, Operations Coordinator, at (575)525-0475.
