US Bank Foundation Supports Affordable Housing: First 100th Home Sponsor
Las Cruces, NM (August 4, 2014) — Newly appointed Executive Director Maria Vasquez, along with Pete Lucero (pictured on left), President of Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity, accept a $3,500 award from the US Bank Charitable Foundation during a check presentation on July 29, 2014. Presenting the awarded gift is Scotty Hendricks, Relationship Manager; Karen Bailey, Sr. Vice President; and Craig Buchanan, Market President of US Bank. The grant will support affordable housing in Las Cruces, NM; more specifically the construction of Habitat’s 100th home set to begin this fall. Support from businesses such as US Bank is important to Habitat’s mission to provide decent affordable homes to people in need. “ We are fortunate to have a strong partnership with US Bank and extremely grateful for their dedication to helping us fulfill our mission” stated Maria Vasquez.
