What: Home Dedication

Where: 4718, 4822, & 4726 Whitney Place, Las Cruces NM 88012

The featured event will also be a celebration of the “Wells Fargo” house in Las Cruces. Home Sponsor Wells Fargo employees volunteered their time as part of their sponsorship of Habitats 93rd home- 4718 Whitney Place. This type of contribution and involvement in the community helps make the dream of home ownership a reality for many citizens like Jacob Herrera.

This will also be the culmination of a year of building by Habitat volunteers, partner families and “Care-a-Vanners” as well as NMSU campus groups. Donations from the community, churches, corporate sponsors, and many others made possible the completion of Habitat houses 93, 94, and 95 in the Mesilla Valley.

Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity is a local, non-profit, self-help organization assisting families in the community to build and purchase decent homes that they would not otherwise be able to afford. Since the affiliate began in 1987, they have completed ninety-five homes in the Las Cruces.

Donations of money and materials are always tax-deductible, and an excellent outlet for funding for organizations and individuals to consider when tax planning throughout the year. Individuals or organizations interested in making a donation to any of Habitat’s current projects or simply finding out more about Habitat’s work are invited to call Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity at (505) 525-0475.
