COVID-19 Level II Protocol (updated November 16, 2020)

External Office Updates:

  • The MVHFH office will be closed to the public through November 30, 2020. During this time, we will have staff available by phone at a limited capacity. If you need immediate assistance, please e-mail For program information, please email

  • The use of the MVHFH board room and outside gatherings are canceled through November 30, 2020.

  • All classes & meetings previously scheduled for the conference room will be canceled until further notice.

  • All staff & board meetings previously scheduled will be conducted via conference call.

Internal Office Updates:​

  • Updates to our Affordable Home Ownership Program application process will be posted online as they become available. Interest sheets are being accepted via contactless drop-off. Please follow instructions on the front gate of the administrative office. 

ReStore Updates:

  • ReStore will be closed per NM Public Health Order through November 30, 2020.  

  • ReStore is now accepting contactless donations. Please call us to schedule

  • ReStore will pick-up donations on a limited, case-by-case basis. All pick-ups need to be scheduled by emailing All pick-ups will be conducted curbside, as we continue to make efforts to minimize COVID-19 exposure. We are actively monitoring the NM Public Health Order and will update our website as information becomes available.

Build Site Updates:

  • The MVHFH Build Site will begin its temporary closure on Monday, March 23, 2020, as directed by Habitat International.

  • A group notification system will be set up to update volunteers & family partners on changes to the protocol. If you wish to receive updates on our volunteer opportunities, please email to be added to our distribution list.

  • Re-Open date is TBD. We are closely monitoring all directives from Federal, State, and Local governments as well as those being given by Habitat for Humanity International. Currently, the Care-A-Vanner program has been suspended by Habitat International. All updates will be posted on our website as they become available.
