Now you can raise money for Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity just by searching the Internet at GoodSearch.com

You use GoodSearch.com like any other search engine – the site is powered by Yahoo! – but each time you do, money is generated for Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity. Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to www.goodsearch.com
  2. Type “Mesilla” into the “I support” box and click on “verify”. On next page select “Habitat for Humanity – Mesilla Valley (Las Cruces, NM)” if more than one name comes up.
  3. Since GoodSearch shares its advertising revenue with charities and schools, every time you search the web at GoodSearch, you’ll be earning money for us.

GoodSearch also has a toolbar you can download so that you can search right from the top of your browser.

You can keep track of our estimated earnings by clicking on “amount raised” once you designate us as your organization of choice. The more people who use the site, the more money we’ll earn, so please spread the word!

Current Campaign

We send our sincere thanks from Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity. We appreciate your dedication to the community in which you do business. Thank you for helping us fulfill our mission of affordable housing in Dona Ana County.

Would you be willing to help our families lead healthier more productive lives? We have already raised a portion of our funds for our build season and we are asking for the community’s help with raising the remainder. We plan on building 5 homes and on average it costs $70,000 per home; which is $60 per square foot.

Habitat for Humanity is an excellent marketing value. Recently, Habitat had its brand independently valued by Interbrand. Based on the public recognition of Habitat and public support for its mission, the Habitat for Humanity brand was valued at $1.83 billion – comparable to well-known brands such as Starbucks and FedEx. By partnering with Habitat, your company has the opportunity to brand its name with the positive reputation and goodwill that Habitat’s name engenders.

Should you need further information, or if you would like to become a corporate sponsor please contact Maria Vasquez, Operations Coordinator at (575) 525-0475.
