Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity’s work is overseen by a board of directors and leadership staff who deeply believe that all people deserve a decent place to call home. Board members serve in partnership with other members to provide legal and moral leadership and responsibility for all Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity operations.

Lending your influence:

• Introduce us to your community leaders, congregations or civic organizations. Building strong partnerships is crucial to our organization, as we continue to work toward improving the quality of life in our community.

• Shape the strategy and direction of Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity as we move into our 31st year
• Network with other experienced community volunteers
• Be a leader and represent Habitat for Humanity and the Las Cruces community

Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and their diverse skills serve the organization in unique and important ways; we are always looking to include new voices and represent the City of Las Cruces!

We send our sincere thanks from Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity. We appreciate your dedication to the community in which you do business. Thank you for helping us fulfill our mission of affordable housing in Dona Ana County.

Would you be willing to help our families lead healthier more productive lives? We have already raised a portion of our funds for our build season and we are asking for the community’s help with raising the remainder. We plan on building 5 homes and on average it costs $70,000 per home; which is $60 per square foot.

Habitat for Humanity is an excellent marketing value. Recently, Habitat had its brand independently valued by Interbrand. Based on the public recognition of Habitat and public support for its mission, the Habitat for Humanity brand was valued at $1.83 billion – comparable to well-known brands such as Starbucks and FedEx. By partnering with Habitat, your company has the opportunity to brand its name with the positive reputation and goodwill that Habitat’s name engenders.
