Three families are looking forward to their new Habitat home!
Each family with their own story of hard work and determination to reach this goal. They will finally live where they can have their own space and a yard in which to play, a home where they feel safe and can build a life of success and joy.
This event marked the completion of the 93, 94, & 95th home built by Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity in the Dona Ana County area. More than 10,000 volunteer hours and numerous donations of time, talent and treasure from partnerships with local, regional and national organizations, businesses and individuals have contributed to this build season’s success. Because of their support and tireless efforts they have made home ownership a reality for the Herrera, Mendoza, and Krynitz family.
Special thanks to Wells Fargo, who contributed $15,000 to support the Las Cruces home build through the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation. Established in 1993, the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation is committed to increasing low-to moderate-income homeownership through the development of affordable housing.
